VisiSonics is a spinout company founded by the University of Maryland Computer Science faculty and researchers with experienced technology entrepreneurs. The University has granted VisiSonics the exclusive license to all intellectual properties developed over the past decade by its founders which are embodied in pending and issued patents as well as additional proprietary technologies.
VisiSonics creates tools and applications that combine its proprietary RealSpace™ audio signal processing algorithms with computer vision that utilize multicore and GPU architectures to provide a next generation of products addressing real world acoustic solutions. The products and tools being created and marketed by VisiSonics address large markets spanning consumer, industrial and security applications.
VisiSonics is launching innovative products in 3D sound capture, analysis and reproduction. Initial products include:
- RealSpace™ Panoramic Audiovisual Cameras: that capture, analyze and reproduce audio/visual scenes.
- VisiSonics™ Digital Array Microphones: easily deployed and configured; provide unmatched price/performance
We have a suite of software that works with our hardware for the automotive industry, as well as for analysis of listening spaces. In the pipeline are add-ons for telepresence, surveillance, ambisonics, and diagnostics.
